Metric V-Belts

Metric V-belts are single belts designed with metric dimensions to connect with metric pulleys, facilitating power transfer between rotating shafts. These V-belts are categorized according to European standards DIN 7753 and ISO 4184 based on their cross-sectional dimensions and performance characteristics. Non-cogged metric V-belts are designated as “SP,” while cogged metric V-belts carry the designation “XP.”

The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) and European standards DIN 7753 and ISO4184 are based on the metric system of measurement and include various names for cross-sections. The Narrow Wedge profile allows for faster speed ratios, shorter center distances, and more compact drives. These profiles serve as direct replacements for belts on both imported machinery and domestic equipment intended for export.

Product Features

  • The oil and heat-resistant bias-cut envelope protects the belt’s inner components from dirt, oil, and heat. The bias-cut Banprene-impregnated cloth provides stability in lateral movement while allowing flexibility for axial operation with small pulley diameters.
  • High-density polyester tension members are designed to resist fatigue and stretching, which helps lower maintenance costs.
  • The Banprene compression section keeps the cross sections of the tension members uniform while also being flexible enough to reduce heat buildup. This heat buildup is a major cause of premature belt failure.
Attention: The internal data of table “145” is corrupted!
