Synchro-Link Trapezoidal TL Timing Belt Pulleys

The selection of a pulley for a Synchro-Link drive is contingent upon a variety of factors, such as the amount of space available, the ratios, the center distances, the horsepower being transmitted, the speeds, and the user’s preference for mounting systems (e.g., QD, TL, or Minimum Plain Bore).

Circular pitch, sometimes known as pitch, is a crucial factor in Synchro-Link Drives, just like it is in gear or chain drives. Pitch is the distance between tooth centers on the belt and is measured along the belt’s pitch line. Pitch on a pulley is defined as the distance between groove centers and is measured using the pitch curve.

In a Synchro-Link Drive Belt, the pitch line is inside the tension section. Synchro-Link Drive Belt pulleys have pitch circles that line up with the pitch lines of the belts that go on them.

Any Synchro-Link Drive Belt should be used with pulleys of the same pitch. Pulleys with a different pitch cannot be effectively used with a belt of the same pitch.
